Super speedy smoothie


Enjoy a glass of instant green goodness by blending chunks of frozen smoothie mixture (available in the freezer aisle of your local supermarket) with water or nut milk. Look for varieties combining fruit with veg as this helps to slow down the release of the sugar from the fruit into your bloodstream (try spinach, mango, kiwi and kale or beetroot, apple and berry mixes). Adding a handful of baby spinach or herbs adds extra fibre and vitamin C. Using frozen fruit and veg makes the smoothie instantly cool to drink (add crushed ice if you are blending fresh). 

Serves 1




  • 125g of frozen smoothie mix

  • 250ml water or nut milk

  • Handful of green leaves 



  1.  Blend all ingredients together until smooth.

  2. Garnish with parsley or basil leaves and enjoy!
